"Hear the Rivers" showcases Greenleaf's signature blend of stoner rock and heavy psych, characterized by thick, fuzzy guitar riffs and a powerful rhythm section. The production is polished yet retains a raw edge, allowing the organic textures of the instruments to shine through. Tracks like "Let It Out!" and "High Fever" feature driving tempos and energetic grooves, while "The Rivers Lullaby" offers a more contemplative, atmospheric moment with its layered instrumentation. The album balances dynamic shifts, from the anthemic "We Are the Pawns" to the brooding "In the Caverns Below," creating a rich sonic landscape that invites deep listening. The overall sound is both expansive and intimate, making it a distinctive entry in the genre.
