"Rise Above the Meadow" showcases Greenleaf's signature blend of stoner rock and heavy psych, characterized by rich, layered instrumentation and a warm, analog production style. The album features a dynamic range of tempos, from the driving rhythms of "A Million Fireflies" to the more contemplative "Levitate and Bow, Part 1 & 2." Gritty guitar riffs intertwine with lush organ textures, creating an immersive soundscape that balances heaviness with melodic hooks. Tracks like "Funeral Pyre" and "You're Gonna Be My Ruin" exhibit a raw energy, while "Golden Throne" introduces a more expansive, atmospheric quality. The album's distinctive character lies in its ability to oscillate between powerful anthems and introspective moments, all wrapped in a rich sonic tapestry.
