"Sterilize" delivers a raw, unfiltered sound that epitomizes Unsane's signature blend of noise rock and post-hardcore. The production is gritty and abrasive, capturing the visceral energy of the band's live performances. Each track, from the relentless drive of "Factory" to the dissonant textures of "Aberration," showcases heavy guitar riffs layered with a dense, distorted bass. The tempo fluctuates between frenetic urgency and slower, more brooding moments, creating a dynamic listening experience. Songs like "No Reprieve" and "We're Fucked" emphasize a chaotic intensity, while "A Slow Reaction" introduces a haunting atmosphere. The album's distinctive sound lies in its ability to balance harshness with moments of unsettling calm, making it a compelling exploration of tension and release.
