"Wreck" by Unsane delivers a raw, unfiltered sound that epitomizes the band's signature blend of noise rock and post-hardcore. The production is gritty and abrasive, capturing the visceral energy of live performance. Guitars are heavily distorted, creating a dense wall of sound that complements the relentless drumming. Tracks like "Rat" and "Decay" feature driving tempos and chaotic rhythms, while "Ghost" introduces a more haunting atmosphere with its eerie textures. The album oscillates between frenetic intensity and moments of bleakness, as seen in "Pigeon" and "Don't." The overall sonic landscape is characterized by a sense of urgency and dissonance, making "Wreck" a distinctive entry in the genre's landscape.
