"Total Destruction" showcases Unsane's signature blend of noise rock and post-hardcore, characterized by a raw, abrasive sound that captures the intensity of the mid-'90s underground scene. The production is gritty and unpolished, enhancing the visceral quality of tracks like "Body Bomb" and "Straight," where distorted guitars clash with relentless drumming. The tempo varies from frenetic to plodding, creating a dynamic energy that keeps listeners on edge. Textures are thick and layered, with feedback and dissonance playing a crucial role in tracks such as "Trench" and "Dispatched." The album's distinctive quality lies in its ability to evoke a sense of chaos while maintaining a tight, cohesive structure throughout its ten tracks.
