Description: Helix (stylized in all caps) is the fifth studio album by the Swedish-Danish heavy metal band Amaranthe, released October 19, 2018 on the Spinefarm label.   It is also the first album featuring the band's new clean male vocalist Nils Molin (Dynazty), since the departure of the band's former clean male vocalist Jake E.

Artist Background: Amaranthe is a Swedish/Danish band that fuses melodic metal with pop melodies. Formed by Jake E (Dreamland, Dream Evil) and Olof Mörck (Dragonland, Nightrage), the project began taking shape, when singers Elize Ryd (toured with Kamelot) and Andreas Solvestrom (Cipher System, Within Y), signed on, as did drummer Morten Løwe Sørensen (The Cleansing, Koldborn, Mercenary). Bassist Johan Andreassen (Engel) joined after the photoshoot for the Leave Everything Behind demo but before the recording... Part of the Gothenburg, Sweden music scene. Emerged in the 2000s era. Associated with Power Metal movement. Known for Metal style.
