Description: "Maximalism"   is the fourth studio album by the Swedish/Danish metal band Amaranthe, released October 21, 2016 on the Spinefarm label.   It is the first to feature a solo by vocalist Elize Ryd ('Endlessly'). The album was produced by Jacob Hansen.
The Japanese Edition features three bonus live tracks "Burn With Me", "1000.000 Light Years" and "Leave Everything Behind".

Artist Background: Amaranthe is a Swedish/Danish band that fuses melodic metal with pop melodies. Formed by Jake E (Dreamland, Dream Evil) and Olof Mörck (Dragonland, Nightrage), the project began taking shape, when singers Elize Ryd (toured with Kamelot) and Andreas Solvestrom (Cipher System, Within Y), signed on, as did drummer Morten Løwe Sørensen (The Cleansing, Koldborn, Mercenary). Bassist Johan Andreassen (Engel) joined after the photoshoot for the Leave Everything Behind demo but before the recording... Part of the Gothenburg, Sweden music scene. Emerged in the 2000s era. Associated with Power Metal movement. Known for Metal style.
