Description: Grind Bastard is the fifth album by the death metal band Benediction and the last to feature Dave Ingram on vocals. It was released in 1998 on Nuclear Blast.
Grind Bastard was launched with a tour including the former Eastern Block. A deal with TCI, a touring agency in New York, led to yet more touring, including another European tour with Death. This tour coincided with the departure of singer Dave Ingram and the introduction of new singer Dave Hunt (also the singer in Mistress and Anaal Nathrakh).

Artist Background: Formed in 1989, and after many years doing the rounds under other names, BENEDICTION, as we know it, was formed and the band was quickly picked up by German underground Metal label Nuclear Blast Records, a partnership that lasts to this day. BENEDICTION have since gone on to release many acclaimed albums and are now recognized as one of the originals in the death metal scene. They do however continually strive to deliver the goods and are still to this day thoroughly enthused by what they do ... Part of the Birmingham, West Midlands, Uk music scene. Emerged in the 1980s era. Associated with Death Metal movement. Known for Metal style.
