"Subconscious Terror" presents a raw and aggressive sonic landscape characteristic of early '90s death metal. The production is gritty, allowing the dense guitar riffs and thunderous drumming to cut through the mix with a visceral intensity. Tracks like "Subconscious Terror" and "Spit Forth the Dead" showcase a relentless tempo, punctuated by blast beats and guttural vocals that evoke a sense of primal chaos. The instrumentation is layered, with intertwining guitar harmonies creating a thick texture, while the bass provides a rumbling foundation. The album's energy fluctuates between frenetic bursts and more atmospheric moments, as heard in "Eternal Eclipse," making it a distinctive exploration of fear and existential dread within the genre.
