"Come On Pilgrim" showcases a raw and dynamic sound that epitomizes late '80s alternative rock. The production is characterized by a lo-fi aesthetic, allowing the gritty guitar riffs and punchy bass lines to take center stage. Tracks like "Caribou" and "Vamos" feature frenetic tempos and a blend of distorted and clean guitar tones, creating a sense of urgency and energy. The vocal delivery is often frenetic, layered with harmonies that add to the album's textured soundscape. Songs such as "Isla de Encanta" and "The Holiday Song" incorporate unconventional song structures and abrupt shifts in dynamics, contributing to the album's distinctive edge. Overall, the sonic palette is both eclectic and visceral, capturing the essence of a burgeoning alternative scene.
