"Spiders" showcases a vibrant blend of alternative dance, characterized by its eclectic production and rich sonic textures. The album features a mix of punchy electronic beats and layered synths, creating an energetic backdrop that drives tracks like "Voodoo Roller" and "Kill Me." The instrumentation often combines live elements with programmed sounds, resulting in a dynamic interplay that keeps the listener engaged. Songs like "Female of the Species" and "Money" highlight catchy hooks and rhythmic grooves, while the tempo varies, allowing for both danceable anthems and more introspective moments. The distinctive use of vocal effects and atmospheric soundscapes adds depth, making "Spiders" a compelling exploration of the alternative dance genre in the mid-'90s.
