Cartoon Darkness" presents a vibrant tapestry of alternative sounds characterized by raw energy and eclectic instrumentation. The album features a mix of punchy guitar riffs and driving rhythms that create an infectious tempo, particularly evident in tracks like "Jerkin'" and "Motorbike Song." The production style embraces a lo-fi aesthetic, allowing for gritty textures that enhance the urgency of songs such as "Doing In Me Head" and "U Should Not Be Doing That."
