"Memory Palace" showcases Intervals' signature blend of progressive metal and instrumental rock, characterized by intricate guitar work and dynamic compositions. The album features a polished production style that highlights the clarity of each instrument, with shimmering clean tones juxtaposed against heavier, distorted riffs. Tracks like "neurogenesis" and "galaxy brain" exhibit a high-energy tempo, driving rhythms, and complex time signatures, while pieces such as "lacuna" and "chronophobia" introduce more ambient textures, creating a sense of space and introspection. The use of electronic elements in "circuit bender" adds a modern twist, enhancing the album's sonic palette. Overall, "Memory Palace" stands out for its seamless fusion of technical prowess and emotive soundscapes.
