"Misdirection" features a vibrant tapestry of breakcore and experimental electronic sounds, characterized by its frenetic tempos and intricate sampling. The album opens with "ligwiybd," setting a high-energy tone with glitchy beats and playful melodies. Tracks like "gravy All Over Him" and "Take Out Your Sax" showcase a blend of chaotic rhythms and whimsical instrumentation, creating a sense of unpredictability. The production is marked by a rich layering of textures, from distorted synths to chopped vocal snippets, offering a dynamic listening experience. The juxtaposition of frenetic energy in tracks like "Night Howl" with more subdued moments in "I Don't Give You New Shoes" highlights the album's distinctive ebb and flow, making it a compelling exploration of sound.
