"end." by goreshit presents a dense tapestry of sound that merges elements of breakcore and ambient, characterized by frenetic drum patterns and ethereal textures. The album opens with "beginning of the end," setting a tone of urgency with rapid-fire beats and layered synths. Tracks like "terminal" and "eighty-four" oscillate between chaotic energy and introspective moments, utilizing glitchy samples and atmospheric pads. The tempo varies, creating a dynamic listening experience that feels both frenetic and contemplative. "contaminate" introduces a harsher edge, while "another in a long line of failings" closes the album on a reflective note. The production quality is raw yet polished, showcasing a distinctive blend of harshness and beauty throughout.
