"rituals" by goreshit is a compelling exploration of breakcore and ambient soundscapes, characterized by its frenetic tempo and intricate layering. The production is marked by a raw, lo-fi aesthetic, with distorted breakbeats colliding against ethereal synths and samples that evoke a haunting atmosphere. Tracks like "sacred" and "blood moon" showcase a dynamic range, oscillating between frenetic energy and introspective moments, creating a push-and-pull effect that keeps listeners engaged. The use of vocal snippets adds an unsettling texture, while the overall sonic palette is rich with glitchy artifacts and deep bass, making the album distinctive in its ability to blend chaos with moments of serene beauty.
