Kuoleman kirjo" presents a raw and unfiltered take on black metal, characterized by its abrasive guitar riffs and relentless drumming that create a dense, atmospheric soundscape. The production leans towards a lo-fi aesthetic, enhancing the album's grim and haunting qualities. Tracks like "Saatanan viha" and "Kärsimysten katedraali" feature a mix of mid-tempo grooves and faster, chaotic bursts, maintaining a high energy throughout. The vocal delivery is harsh and guttural, adding to the overall intensity. Textures range from melodic interludes, as heard in "Elegia," to the crushing heaviness of "Veriuhri," making the album distinctive in its ability to balance melody with raw aggression.
