"Obscene Repressed" showcases a relentless blend of death metal and grindcore, characterized by its ferocious tempo and intricate instrumentation. The production is raw yet polished, allowing the visceral guitar riffs and thunderous drumming to cut through the mix with clarity. Each track, from the punishing "Nails" to the chaotic "Bound to Facial Plague," features a dynamic interplay of aggressive blast beats and sludgy breakdowns, creating a palpable sense of urgency. The vocal delivery is guttural and piercing, enhancing the album's dark themes. Texturally, the record oscillates between suffocating heaviness and moments of eerie dissonance, making it a distinctive entry in the genre that challenges both the listener's endurance and expectations.
