"Wölfe" envelops listeners in a dark, atmospheric soundscape characteristic of Gothic metal. The production is polished yet retains a raw edge, allowing the heavy guitar riffs and symphonic elements to coexist seamlessly. Tracks like "In den Krieg" and "Monster" showcase a dynamic interplay between aggressive tempos and haunting melodies, while "Hoffnungslos allein" offers a slower, more introspective pace. The use of layered vocals and orchestral arrangements adds depth, creating a rich tapestry of sound. Distinctive textures emerge through the contrast of clean and growled vocals, particularly in tracks like "Teufel" and "Loki," enhancing the album's thematic intensity. Overall, "Wölfe" stands out for its intricate arrangements and emotional resonance.
