Description: Dirty Pop Fantasy is Australian alternative rock band Regurgitator's eighth studio album. The album was first streamed on 23 August 2013 on the music streaming website Deezer and officially released on 6 September 2013 on the record label Valve Records. Regurgitator toured from September to December 2013. They announced on Facebook that the band would go on an indefinite hiatus following the conclusion of the tour. This was the band's final album before they entered their hiatus.

Artist Background: Regurgitator is an Australian rock band from Brisbane that consists of Quan Yeomans (lead vocals, guitar), Ben Ely (bass, vocals), and Peter Kostic (drums). The band formed in 1993, its original line-up consisting of Yeomans, Ely and drummer Martin Lee. Regurgitator's debut studio album, Tu-Plang earnt the band a significant following, before the release of their second album, Unit in 1997 that propelled the band into mainstream success, winning the ARIA Award for Best Album of 1998 and going... Part of the Brisbane music scene. Emerged in the 1990s era. Associated with Alternative Rock movement.
