Description: Love and Paranoia is the sixth album by Regurgitator. It was released in Australia on 15 September 2007 and was inspired by 1980s rock. The first single was Blood & Spunk which received high rotation on Triple J. The animated video for this track was produced by Quan Yeomans in Hong Kong. As the album's title track suggests, several songs are unguardedly romantic, while others touch on the paranoia, fear and resulting insularity in these politically conservative days. The majority of the album was recorded mid-2007 in Brazil.

Artist Background: Regurgitator is an Australian rock band from Brisbane that consists of Quan Yeomans (lead vocals, guitar), Ben Ely (bass, vocals), and Peter Kostic (drums). The band formed in 1993, its original line-up consisting of Yeomans, Ely and drummer Martin Lee. Regurgitator's debut studio album, Tu-Plang earnt the band a significant following, before the release of their second album, Unit in 1997 that propelled the band into mainstream success, winning the ARIA Award for Best Album of 1998 and going... Part of the Brisbane music scene. Emerged in the 1990s era. Associated with Alternative Rock movement.
