"Choir of Horrors" delivers a visceral experience typical of early '90s death metal, characterized by its dense, layered instrumentation and aggressive production. The album features thunderous guitar riffs, often drenched in distortion, complemented by rapid-fire drumming that alternates between blast beats and slower, crushing tempos. The vocal delivery is guttural and commanding, enhancing the dark themes suggested by track titles like "Weeping Willow" and "Münchhausen Syndrom." Texturally, the album balances chaotic energy with moments of eerie melody, particularly in tracks like "Akasha Chronicle." The production captures a raw, unrefined edge, allowing the organic brutality of the sound to shine through, making it a distinctive entry in the genre's landscape.
