Description: "Influence"   is the fifth full length studio album from acclaimed blues/rock guitarist Philip Sayce,  released 25 Aug. 2014 on the Provogue label.  Influence, is a passionate tribute to the music that made the biggest impact on his early development. On songs by Little Feat, the Sonics, Little Richard and Graham Nash, as well as a handful of originals, he pays homage to the music of the late ’60s and ’70s with his psychedelia-tinged playing style and a soulful wail.

Artist Background: "Philip Sayce" was born in Aberystwyth, Wales, and grew up in Toronto, Canada. He started his career recording and touring with Jeff Healey, Melissa Etheridge, Uncle Kracker. He currently lives in Los Angeles. Growing up in a musical household and exposed to his parents' eclectic record collection that included the likes of Eric Clapton, Ry Cooder and Dire Straits, he was particularly drawn to the guitar - being taken by his parents to an Eric Clapton concert left the young Sayce awestruck an... Part of the Toronto,Canada music scene. Associated with Blues movement.
