Horna / Behexen" presents a raw and unrefined take on Finnish black metal, characterized by its abrasive guitar riffs and relentless drumming. The production is intentionally lo-fi, enhancing the album's grim atmosphere while allowing the chaotic energy of tracks like "Rautamyrsky" and "Verta koirille" to shine through. The instrumentation is dense, with layers of distorted guitars weaving through thunderous blast beats, creating a wall of sound that envelops the listener. The tempo varies, oscillating between furious speed and slower, more ominous passages, adding to the album's dynamic tension. Distinctive vocal shrieks pierce through the mix, further emphasizing the raw emotional intensity that defines this release.
