"Horna / Behexen" showcases a raw, atmospheric black metal sound that immerses listeners in a dark, haunting sonic landscape. The production is intentionally gritty, enhancing the visceral energy of tracks like "Rautamyrsky" and "Verta koirille," where distorted guitars and relentless drumming create a relentless drive. The tempo varies, with some tracks adopting a slower, more brooding pace, while others unleash a furious intensity. Textures are layered, featuring tremolo-picked riffs and harsh vocals that evoke a sense of foreboding. The interplay between melodic elements and aggressive instrumentation, particularly in "Kätketyn jumaluuden vartija," distinguishes this album within the genre, offering a compelling blend of chaos and melody that captivates throughout.
