"Against All Odds" showcases Conflict's signature blend of punk rock energy and politically charged themes. The production is raw yet polished, capturing the urgency of the genre while allowing for a dynamic range of textures. Gritty guitar riffs drive tracks like "Slaughter of Innocence," complemented by a steady, aggressive rhythm section that maintains a brisk tempo throughout. The album's sonic landscape is punctuated by anthemic choruses and layered vocal harmonies, creating a sense of urgency and defiance. Songs like "A State of Mind" and "A Message to Who" feature a mix of melodic hooks and abrasive instrumentation, making the album distinctive in its ability to balance aggression with moments of introspection.
