"Borders" presents a dynamic blend of alternative rock and pop, characterized by polished production and anthemic choruses. The album features driving guitar riffs and layered synths, creating a rich sonic tapestry that balances energetic tracks like "Let Go" and "Youth" with more introspective moments such as "I Was Too Scared" and "Waiting for a Sign." The tempo varies from upbeat anthems to slower, reflective ballads, maintaining a cohesive energy throughout. Textures range from bright and airy in tracks like "All That I Know" to darker, more brooding sounds in "When It All Falls Down." The production quality is crisp, allowing each instrument to shine, making the album distinctive in its emotional resonance and melodic hooks.
