"Malice" presents a raw and aggressive black metal sound, characterized by its lo-fi production that enhances the grim atmosphere. The album features a relentless barrage of tremolo-picked guitar riffs, often layered to create a dense wall of sound. Drumming is fast-paced, with blast beats driving the energy, while occasional slower tempos provide a haunting contrast. The vocal delivery is harsh and guttural, adding to the overall intensity. Textures range from chaotic and abrasive to eerie and melodic, particularly in tracks like "Bleeding the Blue Flame" and "The Word Became Flesh." The production captures a visceral quality, making "Malice" a distinctive entry in the genre, with its dark themes and unyielding sonic assault.
