The indie-rock trio take some time to breathe on their slightly slowed-down, stretched-out third album. New drummer Fiona Campbell helps ease back the tempo from a sprint to a gallop on the fuzzy, psych-tinged workouts "The Other Girls" and "Light in Your Eyes". The wallop of noise from their first two albums is also tempered, pushing Cassie Ramone's noodling guitar and deadpan charm into the spotlight, especially when they bounce off Katy Goodman's mocking pleas on the sugary girl-group spoof "Take It As It Comes".
