Description: Crisis is Alexisonfire's third studio album, and the follow-up to Watch Out!. The album was released in the UK on August 21, 2006 on Hassle Records and on Shock Records in Australia. Distort Entertainment released the album for Canada a day later than the UK release date, and Vagrant Records followed suit for the US market. The album debuted at #1 on the Canadian Albums Chart, selling over 20,000 copies in its first week. Crisis was certified platinum in Canada in May 2007. It is also the first Alexisonfire album to feature a title track. Crisis is one of Alexisonfire's most successful albums.

Artist Background: Alexisonfire (pronounced "Alexis on fire") was a five-piece, Juno-winning post-hardcore band that formed in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada in 2001. The band consisted of George Pettit (vocals), Dallas Green (guitar, piano, vocals), Wade MacNeil (guitar, backing vocals), Chris Steele (bass guitar), and Jordan Hastings (drums, percussion). They describe their music as "the sound of two Catholic high-school girls in mid-knife-fight" (a reference to their song "A Dagger Through the Heart of St. ... Part of the St, Catharines, Ontario, Canada music scene. Emerged in the 2000s era. Associated with Post-Hardcore movement. Known for Rock/Pop style.
