Album: Long Way Home by STELLA LEFTY (2026)
Genre: Country
Record Label: Atlantic Outpost
Format: Digital Media

Description: The 24-year-old singer-songwriter broke through in early 2026 with “Thinking ’bout You”, an earnest pop-country crush anthem written in under an hour alongside her close friends Grace Enger and Sadie Jean. But it was “Boston”, the Noah Kahan-interpolating ode to jumping head first into love, that landed in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and launched STELLA LEFTY into the stratosphere. Suddenly, the Illinois native was popping up at Stagecoach, opening for Cameron Whitcomb and performing in her hometown at Lollapalooza. Those early hits appeared on her May 2026 EP, Is This Heaven?, a six-song introduction to LEFTY’s breezy blend of contemporary pop and Y2K-era country (a little bit Gracie Abrams, a little bit Tim McGraw).

Her debut album, Long Way Home, includes and expands upon that EP for a full-length exploration of the heady and uncertain early days of a relationship. Sure, there’s the ghosting anthem “Good at Leaving” and the wine-soaked breakup sing-along “I Know I Know”.

But mostly, the singer sticks to easy, breezy pop-country earworms with the requisite nods to whiskey-sippin’ and slow dancin’ and co-writing credits from Joe Reeves and JKash alongside Enger, Jean and LEFTY herself. From “Boston” to the banjo-laced “Why Wouldn’t We” to “Something to Lose”—a duet with boyfriend Vincent Mason where the couple trade verses about succumbing to infatuation (“This was never supposed to be nothing but a little something to do/I got good at being lonely ’til you showed me I was better with you”)—LEFTY revels in new love and all its glorious unknowns.
