Serum 114

"Serum 114" is a punk rock band from Frankfurt Germany. The name of the band, "serum 114", is taken from the Stanley Kubrick film A Clockwork Orange , a film adaptation of the novel of the same name. This chemical agent should make criminals and psychopaths good citizens, but it fails. Musically, the band calls on models such as Social Distortion and plays exclusively German punk rock, especially with social and socio-critical texts, even on provocative topics such as , anorexia, sexual abuse and "trashy hip hop".
