Description: Rebel Yell is the second album by British punk rock artist Billy Idol, released in 1983. It was very successful with four singles on the U.S. Hot 100 charts, while the album reached #6 on the U.S. Billboard 200 album charts. The album has been certified by RIAA 2x platinum and by BPI silver.

The album reunited the hit-making team of Billy Idol, Steve Stevens and Keith Forsey, after their success with Idol's 1982 solo debut, Billy Idol. The title track was recorded in only three days at the Electric Lady Studios in New York City. According to the VH1 show Bands Reunited, Scandal drummer Thommy Price was playing in a nearby studio during this time and was recruited by Idol and Stevens to record on this album. Price subsequently left Scandal to join Idol's band.

All of the singles, but particularly "Rebel Yell," "Eyes Without a Face," and "Flesh for Fantasy" were hit music videos on MTV.

In 1999, EMI re-issued the album as part of their "Expanded" series. The new version of the album included previously unreleased bonus tracks and expanded liner notes. In 2010, audiophile label Audio Fidelity re-issued a 24-karat CD, remastered in HDCD by Steve Hoffman.

Description: Whiplash Smile is Billy Idol's third full-length album. Released in 1986, it was supported by the singles "To Be a Lover", "Sweet Sixteen", and "Don't Need a Gun". "To Be a Lover" was the biggest hit from the album, peaking at #6 in the US, with the other two singles hitting the top forty in the US and around the world. The album has been certified by RIAA platinum and by BPI platinum.

Though there was no title track, the album's title was mentioned on the single "Don't Need a Gun".

Description: Billy Idol is the full-length solo debut by Billy Idol (following his solo EP Don't Stop in 1981). Preceded in June 1982 by the hit-single "Hot in the City", the album was released in July 1982. After the next single from the album, "White Wedding", entered the Top 40 a year later, Billy Idol was reissued with the addition of the earlier single "Dancing with Myself". "Hot in the City" was a bigger hit when re-released in the UK in 1988, peaking at #13 on the UK singles chart.

The song "White Wedding" (Part 1) is so-named due to the less-heard "White Wedding (Part 2)", (which is a more synthesizer-based continuation of the first part) that can be heard on the 12-inch version of the "White Wedding" single and the "Vital Idol" compilation.

The LP peaked at number 45 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold by RIAA in 1983.
