Artist Background: Pangaea is an Australian punk and metal band formed in Brisbane, Queensland in 1991. The band's original lineup consisted of Ben Ely (bass, vocals), Dave Atkins (drums), and Jim Sinclair (guitar), who formed Pangaea during their high school years. They released two EPs, Serpent Fire in 1993 and Raggacore in 1994, and a single, Smile in 1996, prior to their debut album Freibentos in 1997 which took five years to complete and featured 23 tracks.
