pretty" by Artemas presents a compelling blend of alternative rock infused with elements of dark pop and R&B. The production is polished yet intimate, featuring layered instrumentation that ranges from ethereal guitar riffs to pulsating bass lines. Tracks like "if u think i'm pretty" and "like an angel" showcase a dynamic interplay of soft verses and explosive choruses, while "too slow" and "fucked up kinda dream" explore slower tempos, creating a reflective atmosphere. The energy fluctuates throughout, with moments of vulnerability juxtaposed against anthemic hooks. Textures are rich, often incorporating electronic elements that enhance the emotional depth, making the album distinctive in its ability to evoke both melancholy and celebration.
