Description: Terrifying Angels is the seventh studio album by progressive alternative rock band Pure Reason Revolution, released on September 25, 2026, via InsideOutMusic
Inspired by an Easter sermon in Berlin heard by frontman Jon Courtney, the album explores traditional, menacing imagery of angels as overwhelming and destructive entities rather than cute cherubs..
Following the more chill and reflective 2024 album Coming Up to Consciousness, Terrifying Angels marks a dramatic pivot to a heavier, darker, and more aggressive sound combining crushing riffs, grunge influences, and atmospheric electronics.
