Dark Asylum

Dark Asylum is the 14th studio album by the American symphonic and power metal band Kamelot, released on 28 August 2026 through Napalm Records. The record marks a highly anticipated return to the band's classic Gothic-tinged theatricality, cinematic soundscapes, and soaring melodic structures. Set in a shadowed, fictional Neo-Victorian world, the concept album centers on RavenHill Asylum—a towering cathedral repurposed into an institution where faith, science, memory, and madness overlap. The narrative follows a central figure's descent into psychological darkness and eventual search for a path to sanctuary.
