"Elävien kirjoihin" showcases Mokoma's signature blend of melodic death metal and Finnish heavy metal, characterized by a robust production style that emphasizes both clarity and aggression. The album features intricate guitar work, with layered riffs that create a dense sonic texture, while the rhythm section drives the energy forward with a mix of mid-tempo grooves and faster, more frenetic sections. Tracks like "Valtakunnassa kaikki hyvin" and "Uhkakuva 6" highlight dynamic shifts, seamlessly transitioning between melodic passages and intense breakdowns. The vocal delivery is raw and impassioned, adding emotional depth to the instrumentation. Overall, the album's distinctive sound lies in its ability to balance heaviness with melodic intricacies, making it a compelling listen within the genre.
