"Dance With the Devil" showcases Delain's signature symphonic metal sound, characterized by lush orchestration and powerful guitar riffs. The production is polished, blending soaring strings and choral elements with heavy, distorted guitars, creating a rich sonic tapestry. Tracks like "The Reaping" and "Control the Storm" feature dynamic tempos, shifting between aggressive passages and ethereal interludes, while "Sleepwalkers Dream" (2024 version) adds a haunting quality with its atmospheric layers. The album maintains high energy throughout, particularly in tracks like "Moth to a Flame," which combines driving rhythms with intricate melodies. The textures are both grand and intimate, making "Dance With the Devil" a distinctive addition to the symphonic metal genre.
