Description: What seemed to be an ideal choice of a residential studio near Paris, turned into a nightmare. The resultant aborted recordings, wittily dubbed "The Chateau D'isaster," remained unreleased for many years. This 2LP set contains the original 16 tracks mixed by Steven Wilson and a fourth side showing how a handful of recordings did get used on subsequent albums.

Artist Background: Jethro Tull are a British rock group formed in Luton, Bedfordshire, in December 1967. Their music is characterised by the vocals, acoustic guitar, and flute playing of Ian Anderson, who has led the band since its founding, and the guitar work of Martin Barre, has been with the band since 1969, after he replaced original guitarist Mick Abrahams. Initially playing blues rock with an experimental flavour, they have also incorporated elements of classical music, folk music, jazz, hard rock and ar... Part of the Luton, England music scene. Emerged in the 1960s era. Associated with Progressive Rock movement. Known for Rock/Pop style.
