"Our Brand Could Be Yr Life" by Bodega showcases a vibrant blend of post-punk and art rock, characterized by sharp, angular guitar riffs and punchy bass lines. The production is crisp and dynamic, allowing each instrument to cut through the mix with clarity. Tracks like "Dedicated to the Dedicated" and "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Drum" feature driving tempos and infectious energy, while "Stain Gaze" introduces a more atmospheric texture with layered synths and reverb-drenched vocals. The album's distinctive quality lies in its eclectic instrumentation and rhythmic experimentation, particularly evident in tracks like "Cultural Consumer I," where intricate polyrhythms create a compelling sonic landscape. Overall, the album balances urgency with introspection, making for a compelling listen.
