Things Viral" envelops the listener in a dense, oppressive soundscape that epitomizes the drone doom genre. The production is raw yet meticulously layered, allowing the heavy, sludgy guitar riffs to intertwine with haunting vocalizations. Each track, such as "Commuted" and "Fields," unfolds at a deliberate pace, creating an immersive atmosphere that feels both suffocating and expansive. The use of sustained notes and minimalist percussion enhances the sense of weight, while the occasional bursts of intensity provide a stark contrast. This album's distinctive sonic texture lies in its ability to evoke a visceral emotional response, drawing the listener into its dark, brooding depths.
