"Further Out" envelops listeners in a dense, atmospheric soundscape that blends elements of shoegaze and sludge metal. The production is rich and layered, with heavy guitar riffs and reverb-drenched vocals creating a haunting yet immersive experience. Tracks like "Moon Funeral" and "Deep Sea Station" showcase a slow, deliberate tempo, allowing the intricate textures of distorted guitars and ethereal melodies to unfold gradually. The album oscillates between moments of crushing heaviness and serene introspection, particularly in pieces like "Clean Moon" and "Asymmetrical." Cloakroom's distinctive sound lies in its ability to balance weighty instrumentation with a dreamlike quality, resulting in a compelling sonic journey that lingers long after the final note fades.
