"Orbweaving" envelops listeners in a hauntingly ethereal soundscape, characteristic of Midwife's signature blend of dream pop and shoegaze. The production is lush yet intimate, with layers of reverb-drenched guitars and soft, atmospheric synths that create a sense of weightlessness. Tracks like "Miss America" and "Hounds of Heaven" feature slow, deliberate tempos, allowing the intricate textures to unfold gradually. The energy fluctuates between serene and unsettling, particularly in "Plague X," where dissonance subtly emerges. The album's distinctive quality lies in its ability to evoke deep emotional resonance while maintaining a delicate balance of rawness and polish, making each track a meditative experience that lingers long after the final note.
