California Cursed" delivers a relentless barrage of sound, fusing hardcore punk with crossover thrash and thrash metal. The production is crisp yet raw, allowing the aggressive guitar riffs and pounding drums to cut through with clarity. Each track, from the frenetic energy of "Feel the Pressure" to the more introspective "Hollister Daydreamer," showcases a dynamic range of tempos, oscillating between breakneck speed and more measured grooves. The vocal delivery is visceral, enhancing the album's intense atmosphere. Texturally, the instrumentation is layered, with sharp guitar tones and a driving bass presence that create a thick sonic landscape. This album stands out for its ability to balance chaos and precision, making it a compelling listen for fans of the genre.
