Anywhere But Here" presents a gritty blend of garage rock and lo-fi aesthetics, characterized by raw, unpolished production that enhances its indie rock essence. The album features punchy guitar riffs and driving rhythms, creating an energetic backdrop for the distinct female vocals that convey both vulnerability and defiance. Tracks like "Angel Eyes" and "Born Too Late" showcase a mix of upbeat tempos and more reflective moments, while songs such as "Dragging Me Down" and "I Hate Everyone But You" balance catchy melodies with a sense of disillusionment. The overall texture is a tapestry of jangly guitars and rhythmic bass lines, making it a standout in the contemporary alternative scene.
