"Troop" showcases a polished blend of late '80s R&B and New Jack Swing, characterized by smooth vocal harmonies layered over vibrant, danceable grooves. The production features lush synths, punchy basslines, and crisp drum machines, creating a rich sonic texture that is both inviting and energetic. Tracks like "Mamacita" and "Happy Relationship" highlight the album's upbeat tempo, while "Still in Love" offers a more romantic, slower vibe, showcasing emotional depth. The instrumentation is sleek and modern for its time, with a distinct emphasis on rhythm and melody.
