Pillow Talk

Since her debut at the age of 16, Tink hasn’t been one to shy away from singing songs about love, heartbreak and everything in between. A little more than a decade later, the singer-songwriter shows the world her grown and sexy side with Pillow Talk, the follow-up to 2021’s Heat of the Moment. Throughout Pillow Talk, Tink showcases a slower and sultrier vibe as she discusses experiences that she’s been through while growing into womanhood: “I guess that dick got me goofy/Halfway past stupid/I’m so fuckin’ ruined/And it ain’t nothin’ I’m doing about it,” she croons on “Goofy”. “Cater”, which features 2Chainz and includes a sample from Destiny’s Child’s 2004 hit “Cater 2 U”, strikes a softer, more sensitive side to the singer as she revels in fulfilling her partner’s needs. While on the Muni Long duet “Mine”, which borrows from Brandy & Monica’s 1998 classic, “The Boy Is Mine,” Tink displays raw honesty while going back and forth with the singer over her two-timing lover. “Let me fill you in on who I am/Since you got eyes for my boyfriend/I’m the girl takin’ care of home/You can leave me and mine alone,” she declares.
