Description: The Great Dismal is the fourth studio album by American shoegaze band Nothing. It is the only album to feature Aaron Heard (also a member of Jesus Piece) on bass, replacing Nick Bassett after he left the band in 2018, as well as the first to feature Doyle Martin (also a member of Cloakroom) who replaced Brandon Setta on guitar and vocals in 2019, respectively. The album was released on October 30, 2020, by Relapse Records.

They self-released several EPs before signing to Relapse Records, and released their debut album, Guilty of Everything, in March 2014.
