Push On

Bristol-based duo Rackabeat and Moneyshot dive deeper into an era of scratchy soul samples and tracksuited b-boys. Not that Push On is merely an exercise in golden age nostalgia. Whether it’s the knowing funk of “Love That I’m In”—featuring one of multiple tongue-twisting assists from Ugly Duckling’s Andy Cooper—or the skittering, prog rock groove of “Hold You Close”, The Allergies’ crate-digging influences always inspire something zesty, dynamic and thrillingly danceable.
